Trixie and the Bob Whites are holidaying on Cobbett's Island when Trixie comes across a mysterious letter. It isn't long until the gang are in search of hidden treasure. But it seems they aren't alone. A number of the books early in the series has Trixie and The Bob Whites on holidays, this is one of those times. Its a good story but follows The Mystery of the Blinking Eye in the series which also was a holiday story and Cobbett's Island would pale in comparison to the Blinking Eye. Rating:***
